Hi! Sorry to send another email, but many of you asked via the survey about notification of electronic payment. If the State Library decides to switch to electronic payment or to send checks directly to fiscal agents, then you will receive notification of that payment essentially the same way you receive your check now-I will send an email on this list notifying you that the electronic payments have been made/checks have been sent and you will receive a snail-mail a hardcopy notification that the electronic payments have been made/checks have been sent.

Dear Library Directors and Ready to Read key contacts,

The state library is investigating different options for distributing Ready to Read Grant funds to libraries. Please take this 5 question survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/R2Rdistribution) to let us know how you can receive the money and how you prefer to receive the money by Thursday, August 28th. Before you take the survey, please ask your fiscal agent if they are able to receive automatic electronic deposits.

A few things to know:

*         In making this decision, the State Library will take into consideration your responses to this survey and State Library staff time and distribution costs.

*         If the State Library decides to change how grant funds are distributed, the changes will be implemented in December 2015 regardless of whether or not Reading for Success replaces Ready to Read.

*         There will be no changes this year.
