[R2R-OR] 2017 Ready to Read grant acceptance/denial letters are in the mail

Hi! The letters saying that your 2017 Ready to Read grant application was accept or denied, pending approval of the State Library Board, is going out in the regular mail this afternoon. You may want to keep the letter in your Ready to Read grant files in case you library is ever audited. If you would like to appeal your grant for whatever reason, you must submit a letter to the State Librarian stating your reasons why within 15 days from now and instructions are online<http://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/Pages/youthsvcs/R2R/About.aspx>.

Don't worry about what is in the acceptance/denial letter. It is safe to assume you'll receive an acceptance letter, unless I called you and already told you otherwise. No news is good news!

The mailing also includes hardcopies of the 2016 report form and report guidelines<http://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/Pages/youthsvcs/R2R/Report.aspx>. Your report is due December 1, 2016.

PS: The URL for the Ready to Read grant webpage has changed, please update your bookmark to: http://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/Pages/youthsvcs/R2R/index.aspx. The State Library is cleaning up our website in anticipation for moving to a new content management system (CMS). We don't have a date for the move to the new CMS yet, but the URL for the Ready to Read grant webpage will change again at that time and I'll let you know when that happens.
