[R2R-OR] 2018 Ready to Read update

I just wanted to let you know we are still waiting for the Governor's signature on the bill that will fund Ready to Read. For those of you eager to get started, the 2018 application will ask the same questions as last year so you might look at your 2017 application. However, the application be formatted differently because of the State Library's new branding. It is still very likely that the application will be due on August 31.-Katie

Subject: 2018 Ready to Read update

The 2018 Ready to Read grant applications will not be available the first week in July, as applications have been in the past. The legislature is still working on the State Library's budget bill (House Bill 5018<https://olis.leg.state.or.us/liz/2017R1/Measures/Overview/HB5018>). We do not have an exact date when the budget will be passed nor when the applications materials will be available. We will keep you posted as we learn more details.

It is highly probable that the applications will be due on August 31, as always.
