[R2R-OR] Summer Reading and 2025 iREAD Resource Guide Information

This e-mail includes a lot of information about Summer Reading. Please let me know if you are not the correct person at your library to receive this e-mail.   1.  Summer Reading Statistics:

Please complete the 2024 Summer Reading statistics form in the online grant system: https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=slor - This is the same survey we use every year but it is no longer in Survey Monkey - the online grant system offers us much easier access to the information you share. Currently, we're missing 88 of you! The picture is so much richer when we have everyone's information - I understand it may feel like you're completing the Ready to Read report twice, but a) it's much faster than the Ready to Read report and b) this is the data we share with folks who want to understand what Oregon libraries are doing in Summer. Ready to Read data is incomplete as a summer data source because not all libraries use those funds for summer, about 50 use it for early literacy. So please, please, please - fill out this form! (Please note I will send further begging e-mails, if you find them annoying, fill it out to make them stop!)





  1.  2025 iREAD Resource Guide Downloading Instructions:


     *   Use this link to create/or log into your iREAD account. If you have not ordered from iREAD before, you will be prompted to create an account. If you have an existing account, you must sign in.

     *   Once the code is redeemed, you can download the Resource Guide & Graphics directly from the confirmation screen or the confirmation sent to your email. These are large files, and may take some time to download. If you have issues with your download speeds, ensure nothing else is running while downloading. If you have trouble downloading, return to the confirmation sent to your email and try downloading from the link in the email. Please don't try to re-download using the code redemption process. Each library can redeem a code only once. However, you can download the Resource Guide and add it to a flash drive or an internal drive for easy distribution within your library. The code must be redeemed before June 1, 2025.
     *   Note: Two parts to the Resource Guide need to be downloaded: Part 1 is the Resource Guide; Part 2 includes the graphics
