Hello folks,

Today's shoutout goes to CSD Chair Jaime Thoreson (Sherwood) and OYAN Co-chairs Lisa Elliott (Tigard) and Vickie Kromer (Driftwood), for co-hosting the virtual Mullet Meeting last week. The work of CSD<https://www.csdola.org/> & OYAN<https://oyanpeeps.wordpress.com/2024/11/01/oyan-mock-printz-book-list-and-invitation/> officers is often unseen but they do so much to help support all youth library staff in Oregon! From making sure there are awesome youth-focused sessions at OLA, to scholarships for you to attend conferences, to fun events like last week's - If you haven't participated in a while, come on over: The next CSD Virtual Meeting is Friday, Jan 17th, at 8:30am. The next OYAN virtual meeting is Friday, January 31st, from 2-5pm (in regional pods if you want to hang with others while it's happening).

I wish you all good tidings and great cheer for the next couple weeks  - I'll hope to see many of you in person in the New Year.
