Hi Librarians,

Just a reminder that Target begins accepting applications for next year’s “Early Childhood Reading Grants” one week from today.

This is a great way to fund Author Visits without having to ask for any money from the general fund or the PTO or without having to do a book sale. (Or you could still do those and have an extra author visit!)

I have worked with several librarians who spent 15 minutes applying online and were awarded all the money they needed to pay for two full days of author visits, one early in the year and one later in the year.

You have nothing to lose, so don’t pass up this opportunity!

Here is the website:

Thanks,
Curt Nelson
