The Employment Department Business Intelligence Team has 2 positions open for applications at this time. Both positions are for Information Systems Specialist 6 positions, or IS6. We are an Oracle shop, we use Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Publisher, APEX, and also support a few stand-alone databases. Over the past 6 years we have moved from IT running most reports for the business to preparing data and interfaces for the business to design and build their own reports. We are interested in bringing someone on board with experience in Data Governance.

The key focus areas of data governance include availability, usability, consistency, data integrity and data security and includes establishing processes to ensure effective data management throughout the enterprise such as accountability for the adverse effects of poor data quality and ensuring that the data which an enterprise has can be used by the entire organization.'



For our purposes, we are looking for someone with experience and skill in developing policy and standards and assisting with implementation of those policies across our data management systems. We have some flexibility with the 'degree in related field' requirement under minimum qualifications, and encourage you to apply.
