The Office of the State CIO in Oregon is seeking qualified applicants for its Chief Data Officer position. In this new position, you will be the strategic leader and go to person relating to data standards, governance, data tools and practices, and how to implement and use the data. You will work with a wide variety of stakeholders from multiple disciplines and functions from across all state agencies to develop and encourage the use of data analytics to create data standards, governance, policies, best practices and tools. You will help agencies understand and determine what data should be available to the public, how to make the data meaningful and useful, and how to work together for the betterment of the enterprise.
