Greetings SORA Members:

What an honor to be elected to serve as the 2019 SORA Chair. It is a privilege to have this opportunity to work with such dedicated members towards the continued success of SORA. It will certainly be a challenge to fill the shoes of outgoing SORA Chair Felicia Bechtoldt.

During 2018, SORA...

-          increased membership from 200 to 700

-          hosted four events with over 200 attendees

-          shared numerous employment and training opportunities

-          developed a speaker and presenter database


Looking ahead, in 2019 SORA plans to...

-          launch a job shadow and informational interview program

-          host quarterly events to provide learning opportunities

-          sponsor an event in the Portland area

-          continue obtaining and responding to member feedback
