[Sora] Please share: Oregon Psilocybin Services Now Accepting Applications to Serve on Rules Advisory Committees (RACs)

Good Morning,

Oregon Psilocybin Services is seeking participants to serve on Rules Advisory Committees (RACs)<https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/PREVENTIONWELLNESS/Pages/Psilocybin-Rules-Advisory-Committees.aspx> in September 2022. RAC members provide input on proposed administrative rules before they become effective and are an important part of the rulemaking process. RACs are comprised of individuals who have subject matter expertise, lived experience and who are likely to be affected by the proposed rules. The RAC process is designed to include a diversity of opinions and viewpoints. In addition to providing recommendations, RACs evaluate fiscal and racial impact of the proposed rules.

Oregon Psilocybin Services will convene three RACs to discuss proposed rules on (1) packaging, labeling and product transportation, (2) licensing, facilities, and operations, and (3) facilitator conduct, preparation, administration and integration sessions. Each RAC will meet 2-3 times between September 12th - September 30th, 2022. Meetings will be scheduled by the end of August.
