*         Learning outcomes: This webinar on the prevalence of the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) in American Indian & Alaska Native Communities and the efforts to eliminate the disease will present positive stories on how the Indian Health Service is intervening and pro-actively working to screen and treat its patients. Participants will learn the impact of Hepatitis C on American Indian & Alaska Native people, innovative methods used to train clinicians to screen and treat patients in rural areas, and become acquainted with peer-reviewed Hepatitis C research articles specific to American Indian & Alaska Native communities.
