Hello colleagues,

As you've likely heard, COVID-19 is spreading at an alarming rate in both rural and urban Oregon. Doctors and public health experts have made it clear that we can reduce the spread of the disease by wearing face coverings while out and about in public.

New statewide mask guidance<https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/DHSForms/Served/le2288K.pdf> goes into effect today, with employees and visitors of businesses and indoor spaces open to the public required to wear face coverings. A sign template<https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/DHSForms/Served/le2728.pdf> is available from the state's COVID-19 website<https://govstatus.egov.com/or-covid-19/> and Governor Kate Brown's office has created a toolkit of nearly 70 social media graphics (click here <https://govstatus.egov.com/or-covid-19-social-media-toolkits> to access them) to help spread the word about the importance of wearing face coverings. There are a wide range of images, themes, and tones, so feel free to use what makes sense for you, your community, and your audience.
