DearJennifer;

Native communities have an unprecedented opportunity to access funding from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).  New guidelines and application materials<https://atalm.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1b5fd0b3926b2a0236f0325a1&id=812f2ceaf0&e=ca34d32c32> for two programs to distribute American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds as well as resources for applicants<https://atalm.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1b5fd0b3926b2a0236f0325a1&id=a7052ada1a&e=ca34d32c32> has been released. These programs are open to qualified organizations and tribes, regardless of whether they have received NEA funding in the past. This is a change from previous emergency funding requirements at the NEA and significantly expands access to federal funds for Native organizations. GRANTS ARE FOR FIXED AMOUNTS OF $50,000, $100,000 or $150,000 FOR ORGANIZATIONS.  COST SHARE IS NOT REQUIRED. APPLICATION DEADLINE IS AUGUST 12, 2021.

To learn more, join the National Endowment for the Arts team and the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums for a Zoom workshop on July 15 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. ET to explore these new programs, learn how to register your organization to be eligible for federal funding, gain other resources, and participate in a Q&A session. First-time applicants are encouraged to apply, and this workshop will provide content for first-timers as well as previous NEA applicants.

Before applying for Arts Endowment funding, you will need to obtain a DUNS number and register at SAM.gov and grants.gov. Registration in SAM.gov and grants.gov can take several weeks, so you should begin the process as soon as possible.
