The Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums (ATALM) is hosting a free, online, two-day workshop from 10 am to 2 pm Pacific on May 3rd and May 4th – Addressing Technology Needs in Native Communities.

The workshop “will help tribal librarians learn practical skills to address the technology needs of the communities they serve. Topics will include assessing community needs, using technology for language and cultural preservation, developing technology programs for people of all ages, creating Makerspaces, and other programs. The workshop is funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.”

To help you better serve the technology needs of your community, the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums, in partnership with the Arizona State Library, is offering a FREE two-day online workshop on May 3 and 4 from 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

Welcoming you to the training will be Crosby Kemper, Director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.  Mr. Kemper will share with you innovative approaches IMLS is taking to help bridge the digital divide in Indian Country.
