[TL-Directors] Call for Answerland Advisory Committee Applications

On behalf of the LSTA Advisory Council, the State Library of Oregon is now accepting applications for upcoming vacancies on the Answerland Advisory Committee (AAC)<https://www.oregon.gov/Library/libraries/Pages/AAC.aspx>
Terms are for two years beginning on July 1, 2023 and ending on June 30, 2026.

Position 1: Public Library Serving up to 100,000
Position 3: Answerland Volunteer
Position 4: Answerland Volunteer- Quality Team
Position 7: Special Library Representative (ex. Law, Medical, etc.)
Position 8: School (K-12) Library Representative
Position 9: Tribal Library Representative
Position 10: Language (Other than English) or Translation Services Representative

Process and timeline
Applications are being accepted online only at:
The deadline for applications is Monday, June 26, 2023 5:00 pm.

Nominations and self-nomination are accepted.
Applicants will be reviewed by State Library staff and recommended for appointment by the LSTA Advisory Council. Notification of appointment will be made June 30, 2023
Expectations
The primary responsibility of the AAC is to advise the LSTA Advisory Council and State Library regarding the development, implementation, promotion and evaluation of Answerland.
Involvement in AAC will include representing your constituent group by attending meetings, participating on an email list, and providing feedback on the success of the Answerland program. For more information about the program, consult the Answerland website<https://answerland.org/>.
The Answerland Advisory Committee typically meets twice a year virtually.
