[TL-Directors] LSTA Council seeking new members

The State Library of Oregon is accepting nominations for the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Advisory Council<https://www.oregon.gov/library/libraries/Pages/lstaac.aspx>. Learn more about the Council in the member handbook<https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/lstaac-handbook>.


OPEN POSITIONS


We are looking to fill the following positions:

  *   Representative for Underserved / Under-represented Persons (2 positions, both 3-year terms)
  *   School Libraries Representative (2 positions, a 2-year term and a 3-year term)
  *   Tribal Libraries Representative (1 position, a 3-year term)

Terms begin January 1, 2024. Members may receive reimbursement for reasonable expenses incurred in connection with serving on the Council, such as costs associated with participating virtually (example: headset) or engaging a substitute in order to attend meetings.


NOMINATION PROCESS

It is fine to nominate yourself or someone else you feel would be a good candidate.
