Dear Jennifer,
In partnership with the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+), ATALM is accepting applications for the 2025 Native Craft Artist Readiness Program, a dynamic six-month program that empowers, nurtures, and celebrates talented Native craft artists.

View the Calls for Artists, Coaches, and Online Presenters HERE.<https://atalm.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1b5fd0b3926b2a0236f0325a1&id=77ebf529d0&e=ca34d32c32> Applications are now open through January 6, 2025.

For the purpose of this program, "craft artist" is defined as artists who create or reproduce handmade three-dimensional objects for sale and exhibition using a variety of techniques such as weaving, pottery, beadwork, needlework, jewelry making, and other forms.

Key Program Features:

  * Funding of $10,000 for each participating artist upon successful completion of the Program.
  * Online training sessions to enhance business practices, including the production of business and marketing plans.
  * Access to a wealth of resources, including materials, workshops, and tools.
  * One-on-one coaching from artists and other industry experts with successful careers.
Last year, 20 Indigenous craft artists successfully completed the Program requirements, attending 18 hours of online training and completing assignments, including business and marketing plans. Each artist received $10,000 in financial support to implement their plans to advance their current and future business practices.
