Please help spread the word in your community about the new Oregon Kids Tax Credit!

New for tax year 2023, the Oregon Kids Credit is a refundable credit for low-income people with young dependent children. For those with a modified adjusted gross income (AGI) of $25,000 or less, the full credit is $1,000 per child for up to five dependent children ages 0 to 5 at the end of the tax year. Above a modified AGI of $25,000 the credit is reduced and is completely phased out ($0) at a modified AGI of $30,000.

How can I get the word out?
Libraries listed in the Oregon Library Directory<https://data.oregon.gov/dataset/Oregon-Library-Directory/6x9d-idz4/about_data> should have received 20 printed flyers in English and Spanish in January 2024 from the Oregon Department of Revenue. There Oregon Center for Public Policy's website also has  promotional information<https://www.ocpp.org/oregon-kids-credit/> and has also worked with the Department of Revenue to create a variety of promotion tools <https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1F71tynJWBHLy2eo-zd7PaQUPR1NjrlqM> including graphics, Instagram reels, and printable flyers in 17 languages.
