[TL-Directors] Good news-LSTA 25 partial award

More good news:

Today the remaining LSTA 2024 dollars ($529k) were deposited into the State Library’s account. The LSTA 2024 grant has now been fully distributed by IMLS to the State Library.

We have cash on hand for payroll, services, and all contracted sub-grants for this fiscal year.

Coupled with the partial LSTA 2025 award letter for 50%, we have a much clearer picture of the coming year.

Subject: Good news-LSTA 25 partial award

Yesterday the State Library of Oregon received a notification from IMLS about the 2025 LSTA grant award, providing authorization for 50% of the funds, or $1.3 million.

The message did not indicate that this will be the only authorization, but this is a step forward to that full $2.6 million LSTA grant award for spending in FY2026.

The State Library is still waiting for a drawdown of funds for LSTA 2024– that request was submitted 4/8/2025. We still have access to the IMLS federal payment system.
