Change to File Exchange with Treasury
Many agencies and their third party vendors regularly exchange files with Treasury to support banking activities and payment processing. Agencies access Treasury's FTP server to upload or download these files. As part of our move to a new resilient building<https://www.oregon.gov/treasury/news-data/the-ledger/Pages/Coming-in-2022-Treasury-Will-Move-to-New-Resilient-Building.aspx>, the IP address for Treasury's FTP server is changing on Saturday, February 12. Agencies need to ensure that systems/processes are properly configured to continue to access Treasury's FTP server after the change.

What Action Does My Agency/Vendor Need to Take?
Like most internet locations, Treasury's FTP server has both a numerical IP address (159.121.115.210) and a human-friendly domain name (ftp.ost.state.or.us<ftp://ftp.ost.state.or.us>)-only the IP address will change.


  *   Agencies that access our FTP server using ftp.ost.state.or.us<ftp://ftp.ost.state.or.us> do not need to take any action (Treasury will redirect the domain name to the new IP address).
  *   Agencies that access our FTP server using 159.121.115.210 need to reconfigure their systems/processes to access the server using ftp.ost.state.or.us<ftp://ftp.ost.state.or.us>.

Will Treasury's FTP Server Be Unavailable during the Change?
Yes, Treasury's FTP server will be unavailable from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on February 12. This maintenance window has been selected to avoid impacts to regularly scheduled file exchanges.
