[Accounts-receivable-news] Two weeks left to complete agency reporting of Liquidated and Delinquent accounts

Just a quick reminder that there are only two weeks left to complete reporting of liquidated and delinquent debts to the Legislative Fiscal Office.

ORS 293.229<https://www.oregonlegislature.gov/bills_laws/ors/ors293.html> requires agencies to report to the Legislative Fiscal Office a report that describes the status of that agency's liquidated and delinquent accounts and efforts made by that agency to collect liquidated and delinquent accounts during the previous fiscal year. The Liquidated and Delinquent Account Reporting website<https://apps.leg.state.or.us/DelinquentAccounts/Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=/Delinquentaccounts> will be open for input of agencies FY 2017 data until 5:00 pm on September 29th.

Resources are available on the SWARM website<http://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Pages/Accounts-receivable-resources.aspx> to assist you with this year's reporting, including:

*         The LFO reporting manual

*         The agency training (from August 17th)

*         A worksheet to assist agencies with compiling their data in the same format as the website entry

*         Prior year's legislative reports from LFO

If you need the password for your agency, please note that there is a link in the lower right corner of the reporting website to request your agency password.

Please submit your reports as early as possible to allow time for review of the data for common reporting errors and corrections if needed.

We would like to thank those agencies that have already completed their reporting.
