Hello ACFR Contacts,

The FY 2021 Schedule of Key Dates has been updated and is available here: https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Documents/ch.a.currentyearschedule.pdf

A few highlights:

1. For FY 2021 only, there is no Gold Star Date associated with verifying funding techniques and clearance patterns related to the Treasury-State Agreement, as required by the CMIA.

2. Dates have been added for the initial and final communication between state agencies and public universities (including OHSU) confirming balances outstanding between them as of June 30, 2021.

3. Like last year, the Year-end Training will be virtual, with a deadline of July 30 for agencies to notify their SARS analyst that they've watched the training. We're targeting to have the training available no later than June 18, but hopefully sooner.

4. The target date for SARS to send A-87 reconciliation forms to agencies that report on the SWCAP has been pushed back three weeks. For FY 2021, that target date is October 8.

5. The Gold Star Date for A-87 agencies to submit the A-87 reconciliation packet and agency financial statements for the SWCAP has been pushed back five weeks. For FY 2021, that date is December 10.

I'm in the process of updating the Gold Star Award Criteria for FY 2021 and it will be on our website soon.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
