I'm thrilled to share that SARS is recruiting for a Statewide Financial Compliance Coordinator, which is an OPA 3 position. This is a new position within the SARS team and will focus on principally on central federal reporting, while also having responsibilities for system security and other internal control matters, statewide travel policy, and some accounts receivable management. I'm really excited because this position will be able to work on a variety of projects in a new way, including being a dedicated resource for state agencies for central federal reporting, covering the SEFA, Corrective Action Plan, SWCAP, CMIA, subrecipient monitoring, and Census Bureau reporting, while not needing to devote significant attention to the ACFR, which has historically been the case for the Senior Accounting Analysts in SARS.
