As with the GASB Statement Nos. 94 and 96 training, those intending to watch the recording instead of attending in person, please do not register for the training through this link. I'll send around an email once the training is available on YouTube.

Subject: [ACFR-contacts-news] Hold the Date - SARS Year-end Close Training

Hello ACFR Contacts,

I happy to share that SARS has scheduled the 2023 Year-end Close Training for Wednesday, June 21 from 9:00 - 11:00. The training will be held at the Employment Department Auditorium at 875 Union Street in Salem. This training will also be recorded for agencies that are not able to attend in person.

Consistent with prior years, attendance or viewing the training will be a Gold Star requirement. For those viewing the recorded training instead of attending, the Gold Star date to communicate to your SARS analyst that the training has been viewed will be close of business on Friday, June 30.

CPE will not be offered as part of the training, whether someone attends the training or views the recording.

More information, including training topics and registration, will be shared soon, but in the meantime, I wanted to get this on agencies' calendars.
