About the position

This position applies advanced accounting theory and advanced accounting skills to establish accounting structure and complete statewide financial reporting for ODHS and Oregon Health Authority (OHA). Work includes but is not limited to; Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) interpretation, preparation of agency and statewide financial statements, disclosures, narrative documentation, interpretation, and specialized federal reporting including the SEFA (Schedule of Expenditure of Financial Assistance). This position prepares annual financial statements for inclusion in the state's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), ensuring documentation complies with state and federal audit requirements and facilitates statewide financial audits.
