Good afternoon ACFR Contacts!

After a lot of review and consideration, I've decided to restart the recruitment for the SARS Manager position. Serving in this role over the past 10 years has been incredibly rewarding, getting an opportunity to work with a dedicated group of professionals covering so many different facets of accounting and financial reporting. The SARS Manager position will have a different scope going forward, focusing solely on leading eight accounting professionals on matters covering GASB pronouncements; developing, maintaining, and interpreting relevant portions of the OAM; assisting agencies with year-end; preparing the ACFR; and related tasks. SARS fills a unique accounting roll in state government, blending consulting and preparation work, which I have thoroughly enjoyed.
