[ACFR-contacts-news] ACFR adjustments and the SEFA

Good afternoon ACFR Contacts,

Now that the ACFR is published and more of our focus is on the Schedule of Expenditure of Federal Awards (SEFA), the Office of the State Controller and SOS Audits is requesting agencies to review any ACFR adjustments they were involved with, including audit adjustments, to determine if an adjustment to the SEFA is needed. In addition to audit adjustments, we believe agencies would have been involved with post-close adjustments or other agency-requested adjustments. At this point, the ask is solely to communicate any adjustment by Assistance Listing Number (ALN, formerly known as CFDA Number), but not to record anything in R*STARS or to submit a SEFA Correction Form. Based on the information submitted, OSC and SOS Audits will coordinate and determine what SEFA corrections are needed. There is no need to communicate to OSC if none of the adjustments impacted an ALN.
