[ACFR-contacts-news] FY 2025 Schedule of Key Dates - SARS Year-end Close Training

Good Afternoon ACFR Contacts!

I wanted to follow up on the hybrid SARS Year-end Close Training 2025 that will occur on Wednesday, June 11, at 9 am at the DAS Executive Building at 155 Cottage St. NE in Salem. The training can now be accessed in Workday by searching for "SARS" in the Learning section or by following this link here: SARS Hybrid Year-End Close Training 2025 - Workday<https://wd5.myworkday.com/oregon/learning/course/39db048f3176100205f4ba63dd7c0000?type=9882927d138b100019b6a2df1a46018b>. On the course page you'll be able to click on "Select Offering" and choose between the in-person and online option. The DAS Training Room has a 50 seat capacity in-person, so this will be on a first come, first served basis. The online option has unlimited capacity and individuals will be able to participate and ask questions similar to the ones attending in-person. This training will be recorded and posted online as well, so individuals will also be able to watch the recording at a later date. As a reminder, for those that wish to watch the recording of the training rather than attend the live version, the Gold Star Date to communicate to your SARS Analyst that the training has been viewed is Monday, July 7.

I'm excited to share that the FY 2025 Schedule of Key Dates has been posted to our website! Here is the link: https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Documents/ch.a.currentyearschedule.pdf.

Most notably, we're having a hybrid FY 2025 SARS Year-end Close Training, which will be held on Teams and in person on Wednesday, June 11, beginning at 9:00am at the DAS Executive Buildings Training Room at 155 Cottage St. NE in Salem. There is a 50-person capacity for the DAS Training Room, which is why we're offering the additional hybrid option this year. As with the prior years, there will also be an option to view a recording of the Year-end Close Training, with a Gold Star requirement to notify your SARS Analyst that it's been viewed no later than Monday, July 7th. More information on the training will be coming soon.
