<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">As many of you know, at the start of the pandemic statewide leadership requested agencies to use the statewide project numbers COVID1-19 and IRTCVD-19 (or approved alternate)
for costs incurred in response to the pandemic, whether they were direct or “in relation to”, respectively. In January 2021, with the announcement of the end of the weekly ECC reporting, leadership requested that agencies continue to use those codes as much
as practicable. I’m happy to share that statewide leadership has determined that the use of statewide project numbers (and approved alternates) related to the state’s COVID response are no longer needed. As a result, agencies will no longer need to include
COVID1-19 and/or IRTCVD-19 for any costs incurred related to the pandemic and the state’s response.
