<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF), which oversees the GASB and the FASB recently announced that access to their Governmental Accounting Research Software (GARS) is now
free for everyone. Previously, there was a professional view that required a paid subscription whereas there was a free “basic version” with fewer features. We in SARS use GARS pretty regularly when conducting research and we’ve found it really helpful over
