I gave an overview of the four major national address standards and both my presentation slides and the spreadsheet comparing the elements in all four standards are available on the FTP site. The slides and spreadsheet are also attached.
Please take a look at the spreadsheet and indicate in the first column (Priority) which fields you think are core, important, optional, or minor. Please
return your preferences to me within the next couple of weeks. If you do not see a field that you think is important in the list then please add your own fields to the end of the list. The spreadsheet is intended to make it easier to compare the four
major standards and is sorted in descending order on the number of standards that each element is found in. Of course, any suggestions and comments on improvements to this format are welcome.

We will begin to draft the Address Standard soon and the document will be available for review and comments on our Teams channel. If you need access to the Teams channel please let me or Melissa Foltz know and we will get you set up.
