<p class="MsoNormal">The State Library of Oregon is still adjusting to the departure of our leader, MaryKay Dahlgreen,. I want to let you know that the staff and management of the library continue to serve our stakeholders.

<p class="MsoNormal">I have been appointed Acting State Librarian to bridge the gap until the Governor’s office completes a competitive search for a new state librarian. I have been informed that they plan to open a recruitment in the next month or so and will
be working closely with the legislature, state library board and state library association to recruit and attract a strong pool of candidates. I have been following your words of support and encouragement and know that all of us here appreciate it.
