Hi All,
I communicated with Rita and this was her response:
Our ULC webinar is a nice foundational overview of how we did Think Yes,
whereas Amy and Sue (or Dave Ratliff or Sarah Oliver from the management
view) could speak to the current landscape. It really depends on your
audience. If attendees are many librarians and library assistants, then
I'm not sure that the webinar content works as well; as it focuses on the
infrastructure of this change.
So, if we are interested in the foundations of the initiative, Rita might
be a good choice. If we are interested in the implementation and ongoing
processes, we have several other folks involved in those parts that would
be great. In a nutshell, it's all about working together to provide the
best reference and overall service to our patrons that we can. Straying
from the No to finding ways to Yes so we can continue to serve our patrons
in the ways they need us. Currently, we have started rolling out a new
initiative where we are encouraging staff to better work together at all
levels to provide better Information Services.
Let me know what you think!
Lori
