I can maybe help (if I don’t get too many interruptions!) – but did you speak to Mary recently, say in the last hour or so? Is Richelle available, like, today, right now?

Ok, so Mary at LaSells says the auditorium is $1200 and would dwarf our group but she talked to the folks at the CH2M Alumni Center and they have availability.

I'm sorry to do this but I'm officially on vacation and I'm wary about starting a conversation with them that I can't finish. Would someone be willing to contact the Alumni Center to see about firming things up?

She gave me this contact info:
A better fit would be the Alumni Center. I spoke to their coordinator and she thinks she might have availability. Her name is Richelle Hayes and her number is 541-737-7849.

Sorry to drop the ball, I had high hopes of just getting Lasells with no problems. I'll pick up other duties when I return!

I agree. I was probably out of it, but hadn’t realized we were in the smaller auditorium for both AM and PM this last year, and that there even was a larger auditorium available…

I personally think we want to ensure that we have a large space to bring everyone back together at the end, and the rooms that you looked at in the Alumni Center, Tamara, seem like a good fit. (Could maybe even get by with Ballroom A or B, but definitely prefer the larger C if we can).

Lori, do you have time to investigate today, or are you outta here??

It’s surprisingly quiet here (don’t jinx it, Sue!!), so I think I could make time to call them? Let me know!

Thanks for getting right on this! I definitely think we should inquire about availability of the Alumni Center. Perhaps Ballroom C, Elle/Burlingham (111A/B), Trysting Tree/Conference Room (114A/B), and Willamette Room (115A/B)?

I have a note out to determine if that other very large auditorium is available. It might increase the expense significantly and we'd be a small group in an enormous space but I'm assuming we'd want a gathering point for the end of the day or something similar like we did last year.

The rest of the rooms are available.

I'll let you know how she responds.

If we need to ask about CH2M Center, here is the capacities list<https://www.osualum.com/s/359/16/interior.aspx?sid=359&gid=1001&pgid=288>. The breakout rooms are slightly smaller but the ballroom could potentially be configured for eating/large group/breakout sessions.
