Subject: Question about conference proposal topics
Good afternoon Tamara,
My name is Genifer Snipes and I'm one of the research librarians at the University of Oregon.
I saw the call for proposals for the Oregon Reference Summit an am interested in presenting; however, based on the topics descriptions, I wanted to check and see if my idea is in line with your goals for sessions.
I'm interested in talking about how unmediated appointment scheduling tools (like LibCal) can help bridge the gap between desk and classroom-based reference interactions and getting patrons to the subject specialists for their topics. I'm not sure where the line is between reference and research on this topic, so does this sound like a relevant topic?
Thank you,
Genifer
