[Answerland-summit] Fwd: Logo mock-up

Greetings, team! Reaching out to you all from my new work email account with Lane County. It’s been a whirlwind of a week, but I am excited for the challenges.

Now I’m trying to catch up with other endeavors after taking a back seat for a little bit. Re the logo: First, kudos to the creator! I like the result. However, I guess I differ from the crowd: I actually prefer the blue/yellow combo (just so much green with the other one, and these colors really make the image pop, IMO), and I genuinely like the image of the librarian behind a desk! I dunno, I suppose I’m getting old but I think it suggests an air of authority, like, “Yeah, I’m a badass librarian with tons of knowledge to help YOU with your reference question!”

Not necessarily expecting to change the collective mind, but still wanted to speak up. Thanks for listening to my 2 cents!

I too like the green.

I’m torn on the designs… at first glance the desk image is more visually appealing to me, but then the librarian in me doesn’t want to associate reference with sitting behind a desk. Hmmmm….
