My thoughts would be:

If we have someone(s) who has made inquiries about wanting to register but being unable to because it is closed, we could offer to transfer registration (if we decide that this is something that we want to do).

Or, if she knows of someone who would like to go, I would see no problem in letting her transfer the registration.

But, if we do not have a “waiting list” of folks, and she doesn’t know of anyone to miracle, I would say that we should just refund her the registration fee and not worry about it.

Hi Tamara,
I did not know who would best answer this...

I registered for the June 1st Reference Summit, but found I am having my Storytime Evaluation that day - so YAY (ready for youth librarianship)  and Boo (can't go to the Summit).  I can't go to the Summit.

Can I offer my registration to a person who would like to go?  I am happy to forfeit my day, if someone else can use the slot.  I would prefer someone use it, versus me getting a refund.
