Hi all,
Since we couldn't get the whole Lasells center and are instead going next
door to the CH2M alumni center, we need to make some budgetary decisions
about spaces there.

The whole center would be about $5,000. We budgeted $2,743. Tamara says we
might be able to get a couple thousand from Answerland if we decide it's
worth it.

Here are the capacities for the rooms
<https://www.osualum.com/s/359/16/interior.aspx?sid=359&gid=1001&pgid=288>
and the floor plans
<https://www.osualum.com/s/359/16/interior.aspx?sid=359&gid=1001&pgid=289>.
We're looking at:

Ballroom (6 on the floor plan) which can be divided into three spaces.
Tamara and I were thinking Ballroom C would be plenty big for us. We could
use that space at a gathering, eating and breakout space. ($1044)

Willamette Room (can be divided in two rooms) ($1321)

Trysting Tree room ($839)

Birlingham/Elle room ($578)

So that makes five total spaces for $3,782.

The question for the group is do we need this many spaces? Should we spend
this much or scale back? We did talk about increasing the number of
breakout sessions (we had three choices per session last year). More spaces
would mean we could provide more options. But we may not need 5.

Let us know what you all think about this!

Lori
