Hi Joanna,
Thanks for doing this! I think what you’ve written is just about perfect. ☺
After reading Natalie’s comment that there might be another lightning talk, though, I went back and looked at that bullet point for February and realized I misunderstood: I thought Running a Tech Help Lab was the lightning talk and Oregon Index Online: a New Tool for Historical Research would be a full presentation. Maybe with a 3rd LT, it’ll automatically be more clear?
* Reference Lightning Talks: Running a Tech Help Lab, and Oregon Index Online: a New Tool for Historical Research, and Third Lightning Talk. February 2021 (exact date and time of each TBD).
Or maybe consider slight reformatting? Not sure I love this, but for example:
· Reference Lightning Talks. February 2021 (exact date and time of each TBD):
o Running a Tech Help Lab
o Oregon Index Online: a New Tool for Historical Research
o Third Reference Lightning Talk
And then just 2 very small grammatical recommendations in the first paragraph:
Thank you for your interest in the Oregon Reference Summit! The pivot from in-person to virtual sessions was a surprise, but we're thrilled that so many people in the Oregon library community were able to participate and view the presentations. Special thanks to 2020 presenters Kristine Alpi, Elleona Budd, Amy Coughenour, Ciara Doyle, Tova Johnson, and Gabe Wright for their incredible work.
And
Oregon Index Online: a A New Tool for Historical Research.
Regarding Q3, my preference would definitely be to post after this week, as selfishly I’d still like a minute to finalize that description (Joanna, I’ll communicate that with you directly). I agree that Tuesday AM would be a good day to send out.
Hope this is helpful and not too nitpicky…thanks for all your work, Joanna…and thanks to everyone for such thoughtful planning!
Best,
Sue

Hi Joanna,
This looks great to me, thank you so much for super quick turnaround with all of this. Wow!
The only thing I would add is a link to the YouTube channel<https://studio.youtube.com/channel/UC96A2ke8PMp4MHICvlrUfpg/videos/upload?filter=%5B%5D&sort=%7B%22columnType%22%3A%22date%22%2C%22sortOrder%22%3A%22DESCENDING%22%7D> with the recordings.
Also, we are hoping to be adding one more lightening talk to the February session, so you could add something to that effect if you think it’s worthwhile. We will be sending out further communications once it’s confirmed.
You can put my email address for anyone who has questions: Natalie Brant, Reference Summit Planning Chair Natalie.BRANT at slo.oregon.gov<mailto:Natalie.BRANT at slo.oregon.gov>
And I think waiting to send it on next Monday or Tuesday would make the most sense.
Thank you so much Joanna!
Best,
Natalie

Hi team! I don't know who is working today; but if you are and you have a minute, I'd love the following feedback:
1. Does the email need more info? Less info? Is there anything that could be made more clear?
2. The answerland-summit at omls.oregon.gov<mailto:answerland-summit at omls.oregon.gov> email does not accept messages from people outside of the group. What (if any) email address should I put in the email below and on the website for questions?
3. Should I send the email today, or wait until next week and send it post-holiday?
