Joanna and Tamara, you are both awesome!

I really like the color scheme on the save the date. And I also love the idea of the “proposal assistance” form.

Thanks so much for putting all of this together! Look forward to chatting on Monday.

Subject: [Answerland-summit] Website, program proposals, and Save the Date

Hi team,

I wanted to give you some things to look at before Monday's meeting:

1. The website<https://sites.google.com/olaweb.org/oregon-reference-summit/> is up; feedback is appreciated. Since the url is unwieldy, we now have a shorter one: tinyurl.com/OrRS2020<http://tinyurl.com/OrRS2020>. I'm doing what I can to make the site show up in google searches, but that's a slow process; Tamara is going to add a link to Answerland's page, since that's still the first search result.

2. I have attached a Save the Date jpg. See what you think.

3. Tamara and I have everything in place to submit proposal requests. We decided to have a landing page<https://sites.google.com/olaweb.org/oregon-reference-summit/home/presentation-proposals> with all of the details and suggestions that we didn't want to try to cram on the form. We also added an assistance form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSedA578-AS-aTyn43hIgmLORLy5qUUaEpQVB2-cEJOfMzXC5A/viewform> in addition to the submission form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScDnnxlFn_BhuH5kvAuz6z_dhqZbnrOhqiUq-d6jXELx8sWnQ/closedform>. We want to encourage people who have never formally presented to step forward, so we're trying to provide as much support as we can. Feedback on the page and the forms is appreciated.

4. We now have a Twitter account<https://twitter.com/orrefsummit>! I'll try to post regularly after we make the official announcement. I would like to post helpful links along the lines of tips for presenting, interesting news in reference, etc. -- so send good links my way! If you are on Twitter, please give us a follow. :-)

Thanks everyone!

Joanna
