The polling option is available…but is that enough to leave that sentence? It still doesn’t seem as interactive as it sounds like she is describing.
Tamara, I guess you can let her know that polling and chat are available via our Zoom account.

I take it that means the poll option isn’t available either? If it is available, I believe they could create polls for audience interaction ahead of time.

Hi Tamara,
I think she is right about removing the sentence. So far, OLA hasn’t upgraded to the Webinar version of the platform so the interactivity is pretty limited to question/answer in chat and some emojis.

Hi all,
One of our presenters has a question:
For the description [of my session] , I am not sure whether this piece will still be possible based on the software or approach you are using for the event. Will the interactivity just be audience Q&A that one of us might monitor while the other is speaking? If so, we probably just need to remove this sentence.
“This interactive session will engage the audience in sharing examples and preferred resources and strategies for health reference from patients, consumers, families, clients, and health care providers.”
I’m not sure how we’re handling interactivity and what’s possible in the OLA Zoom platform. Thoughts?

Hi team,
Check out the updated website and see what you think<https://sites.google.com/olaweb.org/oregon-reference-summit/home>. As soon as there is agreement on the language we use on the site I will update the "flyers" as well.
Natalie and Mark: Let me know as soon as you have a registration link and I will add the hyperlink. Also, please ask Ciara for pronouns and a bio and have her sign off on the session description -- I added a subtitle and tweaked her first sentence slightly.
Tamara: You and I can ask the other presenters for pronouns and bio.
Thanks,
Joanna
