I don't know whether we have a waiting room option, and you may all know
this already, but: if the host removes someone from a Zoom meeting they're
not able to log back in. You can also send someone to a waiting room and
then bring them back -- I'm not sure whether a moderator can talk with
someone in the waiting room, though. Sending someone to a breakout room
with a moderator allows the person to move back to the main room without an
intermediary. So, the host has the power to exile, give a time-out, or
have a private conversation.
Sorry I haven't been active lately -- will try to change that over the
coming month.
