Mark doesn’t have access to Zoom Webinar. Shirley is on vacation…I also contacted Kate Lasky. And Arlene is looking into it as well.

I’m hoping that someone in an academic setting will have such an account. I have GoToMeeting through work, and actually sent a request to IT over a month ago asking if this means I also have GoToWebinar…and responding to this thread makes me realize I still haven’t gotten an answer!

Hmmm…I’ll look into it, but in the meantime, does Mark or Robin have access to anything?

Also, we should call Shirley, if you haven’t already. I wouldn’t wait for email, I mean…if you need me to, I’ll be glad to. ☺

Hi all,

I still haven’t heard back from Shirley about the OLA Zoom account…and needless to say I’m feeling a touch anxious about it. I need to email Elleona and the 321 registrants today with the session information. Do any of you have access to a Zoom account with the Webinar functionality (or any functionality for this many people?) that we could use on Monday?  Another option is the State Library AdobeConnect Account…but I’m afraid there would be a learning curve for Elleona as the presenter, and it’s generally clunkier than Zoom.

It looks like something may have changed with the OLA Zoom account.

I had a Virtual Reference Summit<https://sites.google.com/olaweb.org/oregon-reference-summit/home> session scheduled on the account for Monday 10/26 as Webinar, but now it looks like the Webinar option is no longer supported on this account and my session is gone.

Can you advise?  Tamara, if we need to use one of the State Library accounts, do we pay for the Webinar option. We have 321 people registered right now.

Here is the instruction sheet on accessing OLA Zoom accounts.  I recommend you use the Ola.vwebmeeting account if at all possible.
