Hi ORSummit team,
Just a reminder that we decided not to have a February meeting but we will
meet March 29.
We had 4 people respond to our call for new members. They are listed below
along with the info they sent. I feel pretty good about inviting the first
three to our March meeting so they can ask questions and decide if they
want to commit. I'm not sure about Kayla. If any of you have knowledge,
questions, concerns or kudos for any of them, feel free to let us know.

   - Robert Lanxon (Adult services librarian with the Ledding Library of
Milwaukie). I am interested in being considered for being a member of the
Oregon Reference Summit. I have over 40 years of library experience, the
past 27 years as a reference librarian with the Ledding Library of
   Milwaukie.
   - Erica Jensen - (Librarian at Lewis and Clark. She did a presentation
for us last year). I would be very interested in joining the committee! The
Reference Summit has been my favorite local professional development event
since I moved to Oregon, both in its old in-person format and in the newer
   online incarnation.
   - Sara Trott - (Equipment Coordinator, OSU Valley Library) I would be
interested in joining the Oregon Reference Summit as a new member. I have
been part of the Support Staff Division of the OLA and enjoyed helping them
plan their conferences. I work with reference which is part of my position
at the OSU Valley Library and I’m excited to learn more.
   - Kayla Phillips - I'm not sure what Kayla's library connection is. Her
email address doesn't indicate an employer/school. I reached out to her
twice after she expressed interest to find out more about her library
connection and why she is interested but I've had no response.

Thanks!
Lori
