<div dir="ltr">Hi everyone,<div><br></div><div>The Underrepresented Library Staff Scholarships have been awarded to Max Macias, a PT Instructional Librarian at Portland Community College and David M. Liberty, a library staff member at the 

<span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;font-style:normal">Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission's library. I also asked them for an RSVP for the social event.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;font-style:normal"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;font-style:normal">We did have one additional applicant for this scholarship, but she didn't sufficiently answer the questions where as both David and Max had very thoughtful applications. </span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;font-style:normal"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;font-style:normal">For future reference, I think it would be a good idea to set aside a few scholarships for under-represented staff at the start. I had several people reach out and ask questions, say they were passing it on to staff, or just say they appreciated the effort.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;font-style:normal"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;font-style:normal">Daina</span></div></div>
