Ahoy Answerlanders!

I'm writing to provide you all an opportunity if you have the time and are available, to learn more about Oregon's 9 recognized indigenous tribes. This could help you provide information to educators and other inquirers on this very integral and interwoven piece of Oregon's tribal existence from historic to present times. The summit speaks to the education curricula developed by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde as well as the curricula developed by other tribes to help educators tell the truth about the story of indigenous tribes in Oregon. (Again, this only applies to recognized tribes). Additionally, it speaks to the 9 tenets of understanding that the tribes wish for everyone to comprehend when thinking about the tribal lens.

Please attend all, or part of this event if you can. It would be wonderful to support the tribes, as well as learn a little bit more about a very important part of Oregon's story. Also, let me know if you do attend so I can keep track of this as volunteer hours for you.
