Hey there Answerland Volunteer Crew,

I just wanted to follow up with you after the Coffee Break/ Social Hour from earlier today.  There are a number of you that volunteer with us that are either out of state or not currently associated with a library. Today's message is to remind you or inform you (if this is the first time that you are hearing this that we do have some databases/electronic resources for you to use with your patron interactions. These resources are listed below. I encourage you to check them out and let me know if you have any questions.

Libraries of Oregon website- This recently migrated to a new host and the web address has changed. So even if you were using the resources on the website before, it will be good for you to bookmark it in your browser. https://www.galepages.com/oregon_pages
I've tested it and it's not 100% redirecting to the new website above if you try to go to the old web address librariesoforegon.org

Gale Databases- I've attached a couple of lists. One list is the databases by subject. The other is the list in alphabetical order.

Access for Out of State Librarians- Normally these resources are available via IP address authentication. This way all Oregon residents have access to these databases. My coworker Arlene Weible (who negotiated there contracts among other wonderful things) and I have figured out a way for those of you who do not live in the state of Oregon, to have access to these things.
