[ASIST_Network] more ASIST trainers approved to offer NASW credits

Dear Oregon ASIST trainers,
 
The following ASIST trainers have just been approved by Oregon NASW to offer NASW credits for ASIST trainings (these are in addition to the previous list). A complete, updated list of approved trainers is attached.

Niki Confer
Billie-Jo Craigmile
Timothy Kelly
Tracy G. Northfield
Gwendolyn Overland
 
If you are not on the attached list, please send me a brief bio that shows your qualifications to be an ASIST trainer - e.g., where you work, position, education, experience with suicide prevention/ASIST, and other. Please, no more than a paragraph. I'll send another list to NASW at the end of this month if there are additional trainers who want to be included. 
 
If you have ASIST trainings scheduled for Sept-Oct-Nov and would like them to be listed on the Oregon NASW website and in their newsletter (and if you haven't already sent them to me), please have the information to me by August 29. I'll need location, dates, cost, and contact/registration information. You can see their current listings at http://nasworegon.org/continuing-education/ce-offerings-approved-by-nasw/page/P6/.
