Hi Oregon ASIST trainers,
There are some excellent pre-conference trainings for mental health
clinicians at the upcoming Assoc of Suicidology Conference in Portland.
I'm forwarding this email upon request from a colleague. Please see

Dear Colleagues:
It is with great excitement and anticipation that I inform you that the
44th Annual American Association of Suicidology AAS) will be held in
Portland April 12th to 16th. This is a great educational and networking
opportunity, as many renowned suicidologists from all over the globe
will be present.  
 I am attaching a brochure highlighting the clinical preconference
workshops to be held April 12th and 13th. There are both full-day and
half-day offerings, and continuing education credits are available.
 Information on the entire conference is located on the AAS website at
http://www.suicidology.org/web/guest/education-and-training/annual-conference.

 I encourage you to register for as much of the conference as your
schedule will allow. This is the first time this one-of-a-kind program
has come to Portland, and it could be many years before it returns.
