Subject: Help Please
Good evening everyone. I just completed my last ASIST training this weekend. I was wondering if anyone in the Salem area would like my supplies. While I don't have anymore version 10 handbooks or workbooks, I do have a new box of post-it flip charts, manuals, posters, overheads for version 10, manual, poster, jump drive for XI, and all the other miscellany in a tote box that goes with the territory. All for anyone who wants to come get it.
I am really fully retiring now and moving to Southern California. Providing ASIST trainings around the state of Oregon the last 13 years has been one of the most rewarding things I have done in my life.
I've left a couple of legacies: ASIST will continue to be provided on a regular basis to the staff of the Oregon Youth Authority and the inclusion of ASIST in the criminal justice program at Chemeketa Community College will go on without me.
I will miss Gary Lasater. We've made quite a training team for 12 years.
It has been my pleasure to know all of you. I will always admire the work that you do.
Kimberly Walker
